The plain-language agreement between you and Loam — drafted in advance of our public launch.

About these terms

These terms describe how you and Loam Fitness (“Loam,” “we,” “us”) agree to use the Loam training calendar service. They apply to your use of the Loam website, web app, mobile apps, and authorized integrations. By using Loam you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information associated with your Loam account and for the activity that occurs under it. You must be old enough to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction (and in any case at least 16).

Acceptable use

Use Loamfor your personal training, coaching, and analytics purposes. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, access other users’ data, scrape the service, or use Loam to do anything illegal or anything that violates the terms of a service you have connected to Loam.

Connected services

When you connect a third-party service (such as Suunto, Garmin, Coros, Apple Health, or Health Connect), you authorize Loamto access your data on that service on your behalf, subject to the permissions you grant. Your relationship with each third-party service is governed by that service’s own terms; we are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or independent data practices.

Your data is yours

You retain ownership of the training data you upload, log, or import into Loam. You may export all of your data and delete your account at any time, from inside Loam. We will not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose other than providing the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Service availability

Loamis in active development and is provided “as is” and “as available.” We may change, suspend, or discontinue features as the product evolves; where we do, we will give reasonable notice for changes that materially affect your use.

Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or expose Loam or its users to legal or security risk.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Loam is provided without warranties of any kind, and Loam’s liability for any claim relating to the service is limited as permitted by applicable law. The final version of these terms will state these provisions in full.

Changes to these terms

This draft will be replaced by complete terms at public launch. After launch, we will notify users of material changes through the app and our website.
